Peter brings a wealth of experience to the role of Chief Legal Officer. Having started his legal career with Sly & Russell (now Norton Rose), he was subsequently a partner with Sydney law firm, Hicksons Lawyers, for 15 years practising in general corporate, commercial and property law.  

Peter has worked as legal counsel for a major Australian supermarket group as well as acting as a legal advisor to the CSIRO in Canberra. Peter also has international experience, having worked in the Middle East with the Norton Rose/Graham & James international group. Peter also has extensive board experience, having been a director of The Whiddon Retirement Group for more than 10 years, where he was a member of the corporate governance and remuneration committees.

Peter holds a Bachelor Arts, Bachelor Law (Hons) from The Australian National University.
